1) Q. How well does the SlateGlove work with the Convertible Keyboard?

A. All models (M1200, M1300, M1400, LE1600 & LE1700) work well with the Convertible Keyboard / screen protector, without any interference. Additionally, on the LE1600 & LE1700, you will find that the SlateGlove adds significantly to the stability of your selected screen-viewing angle when docked on the Convertible Keyboard. See pictures below.

2) Q. Does the SlateGlove prevent me from carrying my tablet computer in my Motion Computing Executive Portfolio?

A. It will snap-in the Executive Portfolio in a screen-down orientation. However, you will not be able to also have the regular screen protector or convertible keyboard snapped-on over the screen. It will work in this mode with or without an extended-life battery attached to the back of the computer (under the SlateGlove). Note: There is not sufficient room to also carry a separate screen protector or convertible keyboard in the Executive Portfolio with this configuration. See pictures below.

3) Q. Does the SlateGlove prevent me from carrying my tablet computer in my Motion Computing Field Case?

A. It will snap-in the Field Case in a screen-down orientation. However, you will not be able to also have the regular screen protector or convertible keyboard snapped-on over the screen. It will work in this mode with or without an extended-life battery attached to the back of the computer (under the SlateGlove). Note: There is sufficient room in the Field Case to also carry a separate screen protector or Convertible Keyboard. With or without the extended battery attached the fit is "snug" so don't expect to carry much else in the case with this configuration. See pictures below.

4) Q. Does the SlateGlove prevent me from carrying my tablet computer in my Motion Computing Carrying Case?

A. The Motion Computing Carrying Case has sufficient room to carry your computer with SlateGlove installed, with or without an extended-life battery, including with a screen protector or convertible keyboard clipped-on to the screen. See pictures below.

5) Q. Does the SlateGlove prevent me from carrying my tablet computer in my Motion Computing Logic Backpack?

A. The Motion Computing Logic Backpack has sufficient room to carry your computer with SlateGlove installed, with or without an extended-life battery, including with a screen protector or convertible keyboard clipped-on to the screen...... and then some.

6) Q. Does the SlateGlove prevent me from carrying my tablet computer in the Motion Bump Case.

A. Yes, your computer with a SlateGlove installed will not fit into the Motion Bump Case; and there would be no point in doing so. If you are willing to take the time to remove your tablet from the bump case each time you want to dock your computer, you do not need a SlateGlove, unless the glare from the acetate screen cover on the Bump Case is not acceptable to you.

7) Q. Does the SlateGlove interfere with the use of the hard screen cover/protector or the Convertible Keyboard cover.

A. No, not at all. See picture below.

8) Q. Does the SlateGlove interfere with the Extended battery that fits onto the back of the LE1600 or LE1700?

A. The SlateGlove will work with the extended battery; HOWEVER, the Velcro™ pieces included with the SlateGlove kit must NOT be applied to the back of the computer (as the instructions direct you to do) in order for the extended-life battery to fully seat on the back-side of the computer. You can either 1) apply the Velcro to the back of the extended-life battery, or 2) leave it off completely.

This means, that when you are using your tablet computer without the extended battery attached, you will not have a glove-to-Velcro connection on the back. However, the Velcro is a stabilizing factor, but some people actually prefer not to use it at all. It is not essential. Note: if you swap multiple Extended Life Batteries, tell us this when you place your order so that we may include additional Velcro for the other battery(s).

9) Q. Your website shows the LE1600 model free-standing in the landscape mode. However the SlateGlove kit does not include the rubber stick-on feet like the earlier models. How do you keep it stabilized on smooth surfaces?

A. If you take an ink pen or pencil and insert it into the SlateGlove through the Velcro closure along the top of the SlateGlove, you will find that at some point it will contact the battery along the top of the computer as the angle in increased. The tighter you have the Velcro around the ink pen or pencil the more vertical the computer will stand.

It is much more effective to do this at the far left or right end of the Velcro closure. Hint, you can always use a pen at both ends if it is a particularly troublesome surface. See picture below.
